Typical Trossachs Flies

A typical cast would consist of a bushy bob fly such as a Clan Chief, Claret or Olive Bumble, Marbled Sedge, Gartmore Palmer, Fly fishing in Scotland. Trout fly fishing. Loch Ordie or a Blue Zulu. The following can be deadly on the middle dropper or tail: Soldier Palmer, Kate Mclaren, Bibio, Brora Ranger, Bloody Butcher, Rough Olive, Kingfisher Butcher, Dunkeld or Connemara Black, Professor, Wickhams and Watsons Fancy. Dry fly patterns, hoppers and buzzer’s can also work well at times.
