CHARLIES BAR, 75 Seagate, tel. 01382 - 226840
Open 11am - 12 midnight, Monday to Saturday, 12.30pm - 11pm on Sunday
This is the "new" old bar in Dundee, formerly known as "Devas" but now with new owners. The atmosphere is fairly friendly,
and there is pool table and a juke box. Popular with older men, however, can be a fun destination to visit with friends. Friday
and Saturday nights are popular with the younger generation - when the dance floor opens up and a DJ is on. As with every
other gay venue - no drink promotions - but no entry fee either.
OUT NIGHTCLUB, 124 Seagate, tel. 01382 - 200660
Open 11pm - 2.30am, Wednesday to Sunday, occasionally open until 3.30am.
Brand spanking new club - formerly known as Libertys. It's amazing what a lick of paint can do - the club has been revamped
and certainly looks a lot better...no need for the toilets to be neglected tho!!! A great night out guaranteed - but at £6
to get in and £2.60 per bottle - you'll have to save up your pennies before venturing through the door.
