Did Buddy Holly and the Crickets play the Glasgow Empire in the mid to late '50s. When I was in my high-teens I clearly remember seeing a large billboard poster at the Cambuslang bus terminus advertising the show. I'm sure it was the Empire although I could be wrong. I would be very much obliged if you could you give me any information as to whether there was such a show?
