The Western magickal tradition revolves around three intertwined arts - Cabala, Astrology and Tarot, which are integrated and harmonized by the Millennial Tree of Life structure. Although this book is not intended as an extensive treatment of the Cabalistic Tree, I would like to offer a few suggestions for those who want to experiment with tarot and astrology in relation to the 13 spheres and 24 pathways...
Tarot: Lay out one card on each of the 13 spheres. The first card and general theme of the reading is placed on Uranus. As in invocation, Uranus - the Spirit of Truth - is always activated first. The second card is the outcome and is placed at earth. Then the remaining 11 cards are systematically laid out in an ascending pattern. Interpretation begins at the top of the Tree and proceeds downward towards the outcome at earth...
There are two major arcana cards governing each pathway marked by Roman numerals in the above diagram. One card rules the energies descending a pathway; the other rules the ascending force. Crowley's Book of Thoth tarot deck is the only advanced set available. These major arcana attributions prove quite useful when travelling from one sphere to another; or when meditating on the astrological conjunctions of various planets. For example, during a Neptune-Jupiter conjunction, the Emperor and the Moon cards should be studied. Here is a complete list of these attributions:

Astrology: You can draw an astrological chart on a 13 sphere Tree of Life diagram. Place the Rising Sign upon the Earth sphere. Eris goes on spheres 12 and 13. The Zodiacal positions of all other planets fall upon their own spheres - Pluto on Kether, Neptune on Chokmah, etc., etc.
It is also possible to draw a natal chart upon a map of the Glastonbury Zodiac. The first task is to take the line from Aldebaran to Antares and to precisely locate the centre of the Zodiac near the village of Butleigh. Then divide your circle into 360 degrees. Aldebaran is at 9.5 degrees Gemini. Each planet of the natal chart is then drawn in as a straight line radiating from the centre of the Glastonbury Round Table and has a usual astrological orb of influence.
