The Flight of the Eagle

Where does the flight of the Shaston Eagle originate? We find our answers to this question upon the Tor of Glaston and within the unfolding prophetic dynamics of the Glastonbury Zodiac. Upon the Tor Tower there is an eagle looking south-east towards Shaftesbury. If we draw a straight line from the Tor to Castle Hill, located at the spear-tip of the greensand projection upon which Shaston is built, our path will cross the body of the large Scorpio Eagle earth figure in the Glastonbury Zodiac. This Scorpio bird is the Messenger of King Arthur, who has returned from Avalon healed of his wounds and radiating New Wisdom essential to the Dawning of this Aquarian Aeon.

Arthur returned to earth as a conscious creative intelligence within the body of Gaia at the culmination of the first Saturn-Uranus conjunction on the 13th of February, 1988. Within the Glastonbury Zodiac, this rare astronomical event fell precisely upon the Heart Chakra of King Arthur atop Windmill Hill in Baltonsborough. (All such events involving planets or stars can be precisely marked upon the landscape of Merlin's Round Table - the Glastonbury Zodiac. This enables one to form exact prophecies in time. What does the Return of Arthur mean to the average person in Great Britain, or anywhere else on earth? Arthur represents Divine structural patterns working at every level of culture in a just and compassionate Way. As the spiritual energies of our Aquarian Aeon increase, the shapes and forms of Life and Relationships automatically undergo transformations into ever more beautiful and perfect images of the Divine capable of handling these higher forces. If we listen to the Message of Arthur as spoken by his Shaston Eagle, we will be able to make these transformations in our own lives, relationships, and communities in a conscious and joyful Way.

There is no single human Avatar, or pure incarnation, of Arthur. Instead, Arthur is an Avatar of the Living Earth. And Arthur, as Earth Avatar, is now alive within the planetary Heart Chakra centred at Glastonbury. During 1988, he has learned from and absorbed the Wisdom emanating from the World’s Heart. And now he sends his Eagle to Shaftesbury to share with all the world a Message shaped by the Way of Healing experienced in Avalon and glorified by the Grace of the planetary Heart! We can understand the Word now being spoken to open the Golden Gate of the New Jerusalem by relating these events to the Omega Point envisioned by de Chardin and activated as a point at Sunrise of Easter in 1984 atop Glastonbury Tor. In 1989 this point began to be transformed and expanded by Arthur and the Shaston Eagle into a sphere embracing this earth and all Life...

The expansion from Point to Sphere is a geometrical expression of the changes humanity is now experiencing. In harmony with the Vision of Teilhard de Chardin, this establishing of an Omega Sphere leads to the Immortalisation of all Life upon earth and, in the fullness of time, to the total and inevitable abolition of entropy and death. Through creative evolution, the Immortal Frequencies of the Divine are translating the foundational structures of the manifest universe into higher and more sublime forms. These sublime forms are destined to radiate with total clarity the Glory of the Divine present in all Creation... It is our Challenge to find and to manifest our individual roles in the Creation of this emerging New Cosmos! May the Eagle of Shaston illuminate Your Divine True Will!

From Mount Shasta to Shaston

It is useful to place the unfolding events at Shaftesbury within the historical context of recent initiatory activities upon the planet. Here, I will briefly recount major earth chakra and Great Dragon Circle ley activations since 1973:

Kohoutek - Christmas 1973:

As this comet passed behind the sun on Christmas Day, I was contacted by a translated Human who I believe to be Melchizedek. He told me that the spiritual energy field embracing the earth was to be rapidly shifted to higher Immortal frequencies through the activation of major earth chakras and Great Dragon ley-lines. My first assignment was to contribute to work at Mount Shasta...

Mount Shasta - Autumn Equinox 1975:

This beautiful mountain is the base, or root, chakra of Gaia. It is a place of origin, of beginnings - where large amounts of raw, unformed spiritual energies may be released to the world. These activated forces were destined to find their mature shape and function through the opening of the global heart chakra at Glastonbury in 1984.

El Tule - March 1976:

While at Shasta, a red ruby and a green emerald were imbued with Immortal frequencies. I was to travel down the Great Dragon ley of the Americas and to place these two stones within the roots of the great Tree of Life, El Tule, in Southern Mexico. These stones were implanted with a spiritual timing device so that their energy and stored information would be released precisely at sunrise on the 17th of August in 1987. In the mid- 80's, this event was to become popularized as ''Harmonic Convergence''.

The Great Pyramid - Autumn Equinox 1979:

After the activation of the global base chakra at Shasta and the planting of future seeds at El Tule, the next major assignment was to channel the rising earth kundalini through the global throat chakra at The Great Pyramid. The purpose of this Mission was to energize the Word of Everlasting Life within the collective thought consciousness of humanity. This event inaugurated the New Aeon of Immortality within the global thought realm. This was the last major chakra activation needed before the establishment of the Omega Point within the Heart Chakra at Glastonbury...

Glastonbury - Easter Sunrise 1984:

The movement of energies from base to heart, from Shasta to Glaston, activated a green emerald Rose structure within the heart centre of Gaia. This event completed the first phase of the Melchizedek plan for the Resurrection of the earth. This event also opened up the free flow of the First Great Dragon Circle which passes thought the following opening Gates of the New Jerusalem: Moscow, Mount Kailas, the sacred mountains of Bali, Uluru, and Lake Titicaca. The first Gate upline from Glastonbury is Moscow: it is interesting to note that glasnost is an anagram of Glaston S. (S for Somerset or Shaston?)... Before the Green Rose of Glaston could be planted within the green sand of Shaston by Arthur's Eagle, the Second Great Dragon Circle was to be activated...

Lake Titicaca - Wesak Full Moon 1987:

The sexual chakras of the two Great Dragon Leys cross and mate at Lake Titicaca in the Andes. This mating ritual was performed in spring of 1987 as the last event needed before the El Tule opening later in the same year.

El Tule and Palenque - Sunrise 17th August 1987:

Centred in Southern Mexico, this event was the fulfilment of an ancient Aztec prophecy. Through the efforts of many people at sacred sites all over the world, the Second Dragon Circle began to flow freely. This great ley-line flows through Mt. Shasta, Mt. Fuji, El Tule and crosses the First Rainbow Serpent pathway at Bali and at Lake Titicaca. On the 17th of August, the symbolic 144,000 (This is a minimum number, and not a maximum elite total.) humans were all incarnate for the first time. They are the children created by the mating of the two Great Dragons. Their destiny is Everlasting Life within Bodies of Physical Immortality. This theme and related matters are developed in my other writings - particularly in New Revelations From the Melchizedek Priesthood).

The Opening Gates of the New Jerusalem - 13th February 1988:

After the activation of the two great dragon leys, efforts began to be concentrated on strengthening the local web of sacred sites surrounding each of the 12 Gates of the New Jerusalem. Two examples of this were The Celtic Millennial Awakening extending for hundreds of miles around the Heart chakra at Glastonbury; and the Earth-link events centred around the global solar plexus at Uluru, or Ayer's Rock, in Australia. In the Celtic area, this resulted in the Return of Arthur - which is essential for the understanding of this Shaftesbury Prophecy.

Easter 1988:

Sunrise saw the largest timed link-up dedicated to Immortal Life with groups at 3 of the 12 Gates - Glastonbury, The Great Pyramid, and Table Mountain in South Africa.

May-June 1988:

The Immortal archetype of the Holy Grail is restored to earth. For the first time, Arthur is crowned Grail King. Detailed information about these changes is to be found in my Book of the Holy Grail.

Shaftesbury 1989:

Arthur the Master of the Grail sends his Word to Shaston in the Form of the Eagle.

At Shaftesbury, the Master of the Cauldron raises the Wand called Byzant and summons the Eagle to bring its Grail Word and Waters of Everlasting Life to nourish the Fortress of the Spear and all Life upon the planet. It is the purpose of this book Spheres of Destiny: The Shaftesbury Prophecy, to illuminate and extend this 1989 Vision.

Table Mountain - November 1989:

A major global link-up was held to focus Immortal attention upon this Opening Gate of the New Jerusalem in South Africa.

Russia - Easter 1990:

With the 12 Gates of the New Jerusalem open throughout the world, the Red Rose blooms in Russia as the mystic 13th Gate forms into a structure of beauty, love, and liberty...

Beyond Easter 1990:

A new phase of work began after this time with its efforts building to a major shift in 1993. Basic and broad prophecies for the years from 1990 to 2008 are to be found in my book Voyage to Avalon and other writings.

The Alchemical Marriage

If the Abbot of Glaston marries the Abbess of Shaston, their Children
shall have more abundant wealth than the King of England.

- a medieval saying

This ancient saying contains a deep Truth which is at the heart of this Shaftesbury prophecy. The alchemical union of male and female is essential. The male monks of Glastonbury were custodians of the yin archetype of the Cup, while the female nuns at Shaston were keepers of the yang spear or wand archetype. The sexual union of male and female within each of us is needed to create a balance suited for the New Aeon. We are beyond the rival ages of matriarchy vs. patriarchy and are now within the Aeon of the Immortal Child who is androgynous. Men and women are moving toward an inner state of wholeness and health. Androgynous humans of the New Aeon are still sexual, if they choose to be - but their sexuality is more joyous and in celebration of the Divine within all Beings!

King Alfred the Great founded the Abbey at Shaston in 888. In 979, Dunstan brought the body of King Edward, who had been killed at Corfe Castle, to the Abbey to be buried. Miracles of Healing began to occur at the Shrine of Edward and Shaston began to grow in popularity as a place of pilgrimage.

Both Glaston and Shaston Abbeys reached a peak of power and wealth in the years from 1180 to 1250 and maintained their fame to the Dissolution in 1539. It is interesting that they established their dominant positions during the same years when the major Arthurian Romances were being written and that each Abbey is associated with a specific work in this magickal genre. The High History of the Holy Grail, which inspired the discovery of the Glastonbury Zodiac by the English artist Katherine Maltwood, is reputed to have been based on material at Glaston. The Lays of Marie de France, including The Lay of Sir Launfal and the Lay of the Honeysuckle, are connected to Shaston. Their author, Marie, is reputed to have been the Abbess of Shaston for a time during the 12th century.

The spiritual dowry of Glaston is the Grail cup containing the Omega Point of de Chardin. The dowry of Shaston is the Wand of Divine Will. With the activation of the Eagle in 1989, Cup and Wand united to flood this Earth with the Waters of Everlasting Life. The Emerald Rose is rooted within the green sand of Shaston...

Additional insight into this alchemical union is gained from a knowledge of Cabala and astrology. In the Cabalistic Tree of Life, the Cup is the archetype of the sphere of Binah. The planet Saturn is attributed to Binah. The Wand is the key symbol of Chokmah, and the planet of Chokmah is Neptune. The significance of this to Shaftesbury is this: Three rare and very powerful exact conjunctions of Saturn and Neptune occurred in 1989. Thus this year was an ideal and auspicious time for the uniting of Grail and Wand, for the shift from Omega Point to Omega Sphere embracing the entirety of Life upon our planet. The Coming of the Eagle to Shaftesbury was the fruit of this event. What we build or create as a response to this expansion of the Heart Chakra depends upon the strength of our devotion to the full manifesting of Divine Will within our own lives and throughout this world.

When the Eagle flies to Shaston, may Divine Luminous Wisdom illuminate the Great Laws of Everlasting Life inscribed within the Heart of every Being! May Praise of the Divine, Love for every Living Being, and Thanksgiving for all Experience fill YOUR Grail to overflowing forever and ever.
