In order to celebrate his birthday the previous day, my Uncle had a party in a pub.
No-one knew I had decided to go and so I knew it would be a nice surprise for them all.
When we arrived there were more people I didn't know than I did know although several members of family were there.
A few people came up to me and said "Do you remember me?". My immediate response was no, these people I had not seen since
I was eight or even younger.
There was plenty of food and drink. Everyone generally had a good time , some leaving before others.
A lot of them also went back to my Uncle's after closing time but several of us went straight home. |
