Hobbies |
My main hobbies are to go swimming and using the Internet.
I love to use the Internet, mainly to chat to people as you get to know lots of people from all over the world.
Swimming is a good form of exercise for me as I cannot do many sports.
The reason I cannot do many sports is because I am disabled and have Cerebral Palsy (see Cerebral Palsy page) which can affect people in many ways. The main ways in which it affects me is in my balance and my legs. Although I can move my legs perfectly well I cannot balance without some form of support, my walking with support is limited to short distances only.
I swim for a disabled swimming group called Halliwick Penguins and often take part in galas. Not only has it given me the chance to really enjoy doing a sport but it has enabled me to make more friends and get to know people who are in a similar situation to me.

My Life |
My life has been extremely good so far as I have been abroad to places like France, Majorca, Malta and best of all Florida which is my all time favourite. Recently I went to Cornwall for the weekend.
In June 2001 I completed my GCSE examinations and got satisfactory results although I felt they could have been much better. However this is what I ended up with:
8 C's in French, Business Studies, Information Technology, Maths, English language and literature and Double Science as well as a D in Food Technology.
I am currently studying AS Level Information Communications Technology and AVCE Business at a sixth form (equivalent of college).
From sixth form I would like to go on to university to carry on with ICT and Business as my ideal career is to be a website designer.
