Welcome to the homepage of Gloucestershire Home Education Group. This is a group of home educators in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas who meet and arrange events for themselves.
Things constantly change and some of this information may be out of date. Please subscribe to the lists below to get up to date information as to what is going on in the Gloucestershire area .
At present there is a regular monthly meeting held at a hall near Tewkesbury.There's a lovely adventure playground,skateboard rink and very large playing fields. Games such as tag rugby, parachute games and other fairly non competetive games are organised, so please wear clothes that you don't mind getting muddy occasionally.There is a craft table and other activities that people want to bring along
There are also occasional meetings such as bowling, soft play,swimming,trips and various activities in halls, parks and private houses throughout Gloucestershire.
There are other meetings regularly at Cam near Dursley , Gloucester and also in the Forest of Dean area. Sorry I do not know a lot about them but details are posted on the events e-mail list.
There are 2 mailing lists, a mailing list for events only (the gloshomeeducators list) and a list for posting and asking for information, ideas, opinions and support (the ghedin list).
