What sort of diary should I like mine to be? ... I should like it to resemble some deep old desk, or capacious hold-all, in which one flings a mass of odds and ends without looking them through. - Virginia Woolf, diary, 20 April 1919

The weather is taunting me. the weather is rubbish - remind me why I'm here again?

Today is the first day of Wimbledon. We have had a beautifully sunny morning, except now, as we get to half-past eleven, the heavens have opened.

Rain is pointless and must be stopped.

I shall now go back to making money by deleting articles on Apple's iphone - which is proving to be quite lucrative! (Yes, that's how exciting my life is. Also, I wish it would get warm enough that I could get an iced matcha from EAT without freezing to death from it.)

Grr. Argh.

PS Ian went to Edinburgh and bought a little Citroen C2. It is blue and cute, and Ian actually fits in it without looking squashed, which is novel!

I'm not dead.

Not quite.

I am suffering from concussion, but that's only been for the past 12 days since something happened to me on the way to the bus - I don't remember what happened. I probably just fell over, but I do have concussion (and a bit more filled-in tooth, to make up for the bit that got knocked out) and am apparently going to have a headache for the next six weeks.

But that's my excuse for the last ten days, anyway.

Before that I plead flat-hunting. And rubbish weather. And generally being grumbly. I did do a couple of fun things though!

I might make some backdated entries at some point. Or I might not.

Now I'm just going to go away and carry on having a headache.

Argh.
