Israeli Quirks

OK, so this section is proving to be one of the more popular, especially to the more familiar to the Holy Land...just don't forget to send us any potential Quirks...come on, you know there's so many more out there, send 'em in!!

WARNING: Israelis of a fragile and nervous disposition should move on to less stressful areas of the site...!!!

Quirk No. 1 - Blocking Junctions (though they did have a green light six minutes previously !)

Quirk No. 2 - Queuing - Lets face it...did you ever see an organized, civilized queue?? Even those cute looking old Yemen grannies have queue-jumping down to a fine art! 
Worst Case Scenario: Planeload of Israelis and only two check-in desks!!!!!

Quirk No. 3 - Lifts - (or 'Elevators' as some of you Yanks might prefer) - Let me get OUT before you try and push your way IN!

Quirk No. 4 - Mobile Phones - They're everywhere those blessed pocket toys...we love 'em here at Israelitus.com!  
Worst Case Scenario: Nice romantic movie at the cinema...accompanied by the joyous chorus of a Nokia and Eriksson doing their renditions of Aha's 'Take On Me'!

Quirk No. 5 - Shopping - Waiting for the shop assistant to finish her all-important phone-call to her sisters friends cousins brothers girlfriend.

Quirk No. 6 - Traffic Offence #2 - Thank you for not letting me out into the traffic flow from this incredibly annoying junction...

Quirk No. 7 - Manners - Never mind 'please' or 'thank you', just give me the bloody change!

Quirk No. 8 - Blowing your horn - Quick, the traffic light is still on red. See if you can be the first to blow your horn before it changes to amber!

Street Style - The flushing of ones nasal contents onto the street.. with the same hand that you will soon be shaking!
