im a fan of baltimora (jim mcshane) and im tryin to find more info about him and if you'd please send me a picture of his grave,i'd really appreciatte it,i really like baltimora's music but is really hard to find stuff abput him.

great site just shows its worth sitting with a cuppa tea and surfing to find little jems such as this ! i remember 252 with a smile i was young and i guess you could call the station the soundtrack to my younger days!

Hi Greg, Your site about Atlantic 252 is absolutely facinating! I found it by accident as I was doing some updates my my own site! I found your link from this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlantic_252
Your commentary and description of the transmission facilities is superb.
As you know, the 252 LW channel is taken up with RTÉ and they appear to have removed the famous Optimod that useed to make Atlantic sound so lound. I have tried on numerous occasions to get RTÉ to use the Optimod, but this appears to be falling on deaf ears. They are fairly happy with the sound as it is, but it could be a lot better. Do you what happened that Optimod? Maybe they are still using it, but on a 'soft' setting??
Anyway, best of luck in the future.
