These pages are all about the bells of All Saints Church, in the ancient and picturesque village of Crondall, Hampshire.

Church bells have been rung in Crondall for almost 500 years, maybe longer. Several of the present bells date from the 1530's, and it is awe-inspiring to think that our ancestors were hearing the same sonorous sounds half-a-millenium ago.

However the ravages of time strike slowly and surely, and we just completed some major restoration work, in order to keep the bells ringing in Crondall for a further 500 years. At the same time we have added a further two bells to mark the new millenium.

This site has been used mainly to document our restoration project, not only for posterity but also as a way of keeping our many supporters and contributors informed, and perhaps being of some help to any other towers planning similar projects.

In these pages you can also hear the bells ringing, find out more about our bells and ancient bellframe, read about the ringers, read about the millenium project and how we raised the money to do it, and much more ..... Just click on any of the left-hand buttons.

If you are in the area we would be delighted to see you. See ringing times.

We add to the site little and often, so please come back soon and see how we are getting on! Any suggestions, comments or material to be included at this Web site should be sent to the following Email address here.
