Halt'arthie
Halt'arthie
is the name I have given to my licensed function hall and cafe in
Leven.
The
name is taken from a book of place names and means, roughly translated
from old Celtic Arthur's hall or Hall of Arthur Hal=Hall or manor,
tarthie=Arthur or Of Arthur. The hall had lain derelict for a number
of years, since being vacated by the Salvation Army who were the original
owners since the late 1900s

Over
the last two years, I have along with valuable assistance from friends, completely
renovated the interior and re-designed it in a medieval style, complete
with minstrels gallery. As well as being my place of work it is now
the home of Medieval Methil.
