Just look what my husband dug up in our wood! We are so excited, but would like to know more about it....if you have special knowledge of the Stone Age, and can help at all, please drop a line on the message board.
The tool is fairly flat on the back, and still cuts well.
It was just a few inches under the soil, which is of heavy clay, this being on the Northern edge of the Weald in Kent. The wood is classified as ancient semi-natural, and shows every sign of having always been a wood.
