At the first look Max Hanson (Jonathan Jackson) is just a typical teenager. But his parents have the opinion, he were the most gifted student ever. Just as normal parents are, right? Well, but Max really is gifted: He's a wonderful artist, but he loves playing Ice hockey much more than drawing. His mother (JoBeth Hanson) realizes this as well and she puts him under constant pressure to pursue his artistic career. He collapses under all this pressure and when he gets to meet Molly White (Carly Pope) he's in danger to slip into the drug scene on partys. Everything goes down from this moment on and he's going to lose everything he has ever fallen for: His talents and Molly. He decides it's best to run away from home...
