We left Stuttgart early on the Wednesday evening to go to Raph's chelly in Veysonais in the Swiss Alps (pists connected to Verbier). In the two rental cars were Anne-Line, Hans, John, Manuel, MC, Pete, Raph and me. Since you can't rent snow chains we bought one set, very luckily. As we started climbing the mountains after a couple of hours of drivning we realized it had been snowing not long ago. Soon we had to stop and since none of us had used snow chains before it took some time before the fully loaded VW Passat could continue the last kilometres up the mountain. Then Hans and Raph had to go down again to pick the rest of the people and the package up. A little delayed, we soon stumbled into bed and fell asleep dreaming of the skiing to come.

The skiing was really good, especially for those who liked and managed to ski in the powder. Myself I struggled, but it was a great day. After a beer in a restaurant in the slope we exhausted returned home where the sauna, the steam bath and the jacuzzi were soon warmed up. Having a beer in the sauna and snowrolling every once in a while just proved to be a great way to relax after a long day of skiing.

The other three days passed in a similar manner and soon we found we had to return to Stuttgart. Leaving in the early evening we arrived home some time after midnight after quite some trip!
