Soccarena Christmas 6 a side Tournament 2008
Under 12s had 1 team in a very strong league and done great finishing the group joint top with 2 other teams, they only missed going through to the quarter final on goal difference.
The Under 13s had 2 teams in, the red team played 4 in their group, winning all 4, the white team played 4, won 2, lost 2, and went through as group runnuers up. Both teams won their quarter finals, then won their semi's against strong opposition before meeting in the final to guarantee a win either way for Hylton Rangers. The red team finished tournament winners but a very proud moment for all as we finish winners and runner up in a strong tournament with 18 teams in.

Our under 11s won 2 & lost 2, narrowly missing out on going through to the next stage.
The Under 12s won 5, drew 1 & lost 1, earning a place in the final for the 3rd year in a row, they finished runners up after losing 1-0 in a very close game.
Well done both teams !!!!!!!

Our under 10s won all their group games over two days then went on to win the final after a penalty shoot-out to be crowned champions !
Our under 11s won 4 out of 6 games and also reached the final after some fantastic team football but finished runners up after a tight game losing by a single goal.
Both teams reaching the finals...what an achievement, well done to all the players.....you were outstanding !!!!!

Under 10s progressed through the group stages and reached the Quarter Finals.
Under 11s squad were split into two 5-a-side teams, the whites team reached the semi-final while the reds team got to the final and only lost out in a nail biting penalty shoot-out.
All three teams did Rangers proud !!!

Under 9s showed excellent team work dominating the group stages and finishing top, they met a strong Houghton side in the semi's and went out after a penalty shoot-out.
Under 10s played some great passing football going through the group stages without defeat or conceding a single goal, missing a place in the semi's by a single point.
Excellent performances by both teams!!

Under 9s had some excellent results and finished third in a very strong group.
Under 10s won the semi final 1-0, then played Consett in the final, full time score 1-1, Rangers winning after a nail biting penalty shoot out.
