The
following are not listed in any particular order of preference.
Nor have any of these folks necessarily swapped links with me
- I include these sites only because I have found them interesting
- no other reason. Apologies for any errors in this information;
if you know of any, please advise as to corrections, etc.
Who is Doctor Who?
- this site was the idea of Clive.
Who Space
- links, forums, downloads, etc.
Doctor Who and the Daleks -
dedicated to the Daleks - what else?
Candace Cambden
- if, like me, you find female
singer-songwriters more interesting and imaginative than the
angst-ridden blokes, check this site out!
Neil Innes
- another great singer-songwriter;
what a goldmine this site is! Neil Innes was one of the unsung
pioneers of the pop music video. With Doctor Who and Basil Brush
now back on our screens, is the return of The Innes Book Of
Records too much to ask for?
Into The Wardrobe
- dedicated to one of our greatest
writers, C.S. Lewis, whose work remains a largely unacknowledged
influence on Doctor Who, unjustly overshadowed by H.G.
Wells.
Baker Street Gazette -
a site for Sherlcock Holmes fans; includes a section on Peter
Cushin, the forgotten Doctor!
Fleetway St - Monster Fun -
as promised,
details on Monster Fun & other great comics.
TV and Movie Theme Archive - for those of us who believe that TV tunes can,
sometimes, actually constitute good music!
Laurel and Hardy Central - next to Dr
Who, the
thing I'd most like to see more of on TV.
Liverpool Views
- Dave Williams presents a photographic guide to Liverpool; also
includes the Beatles and Tom Baker art pieces from my own Gallery.
Kiosk Korner - once a part
of the Scrapbook, but now out on its own, this is a visual history
of British telephone boxes, with special attention to the classic,
world-famous red Jubilee Kiosk 6, and, of course, the Police
Box; with much more besides!
I have to say that I have generally
been very impressed by the quantity and quality of Dr Who websites
that are out there. However, I've never been a facts-and-figures
fan myself and didn't want to explore that scene with my own
site. There are lots of great sites already dedicated to that
kind of thing. When
you've finished exploring The Scrapbook,
why not go back to the INDEX
page for a list of rings this site belongs to, and hop aboard
a Dr Who web ring for a random journey! After all, isn't that
what the Doctor would do? Or search the Open Directory Project
at the bottom of this page!
