This has been created by students at the University of Derby as part of a project aimed at promoting testicular cancer awareness. Many other groups are working on the same project here, and it is hoped that the collective research can later be put to good use!
Firstly, this is a non-medical website.
If you do have any worries or concerns about testicular cancer, you must seek qualified medical advice. Testicular cancer is easily treated, and is nearly always curable if caught at an early stage.
Start checking NOW, and DO IT REGULARLY.
Thirdly, these are the information leaflets found so far:

Some or all of these leaflets will be available from your own Doctor's surgery.
All doctors are aware of the risks and dangers of Testicular Cancer, some more proactively than others. Nowadays, they often ask you specifically about it, even when seeing a doctor about something else!
In the end they are of course the best people to see if you have any doubts whatsoever.
Posters 1 and 2 will be available for purchase from Friday 15/12/00 until term ends, including some variations as 'Limited Editions' with several combinations of all 5 of our models!
A 2001 calendar is to follow, again with otherwise unseen photos!
Prices are yet to be finalised, but are anticipated at about £1 for each A3 poster, and around £5/£6 for the calendar. All profits made will be donated to cancer research charities.
At this initial stage, it contains a set of links to other existing information on the web that could be useful, and also a listing of currently available literature, and how to get hold of it.
Secondly, we have a free and open forum for discussion of the subject.
All comments welcome, and can be in the strictest confidence if you so wish. You do not need to disclose your e-mail address when contacting us.
We have a set of links that can give you more advice on the subject:
