Lumbar disc disease
- Having been trained in the technique of microdiscecetomy by the late Mr Huw Griffith I developed a special interest in
lumbar disc disease. I have written or co-written four publications on the subject and have helped to run the microdiscectomy
service at Frenchay for the past four years.
Neurendoscopy and hydrocephalus management
- Wide experience gained at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, Memphis and at Frenchay during my training.
Spina bifida
- Long and extensive experience of the treatment of spina bifida and related conditions at Frenchay Hospital, where I have
been running the Hydrocephalus & Spina bifida Clinic for the past six years. Large exposure to the condition in Memphis during
my neurosurgical fellowship in 1994/5..
