WHO ARE NORAID?

Take a look at any of Noraid's or INAC's WebPages and you will find they project an image of freedom. They call for equality, peace and justice but a closer look reveals their hypocrisy, as they want to achieve this down the barrel of a gun. The rhetoric on their websites sound plausible and their aims admirable, the bright colours are appealing but the reality behind the mask is extremely frightening.

Noraid originated in the United States of America in 1970. It was set up initially to assist IRA terrorist prisoners who had begun a campaign of terror and sectarian murder against the Protestant and Ulster-British communities in Ulster. Today the organisation’s main function appears to be to disseminate propaganda in favour of IRA terrorists and fundraising for their murder machine. In short, Noraid supplies the logistics of violence to Irish Nationalist groups, thousands of miles from their US territory and well out of sight and out of mind from the aftermath they facilitate.

Noraid aspires to a "united Ireland". It believes in a pure Gaelic and Nationalist Ireland and espouses an openly racist agenda. Noraid denounces those who do not share their vision for Ireland, even though it is not their homeland, and they live an Ocean away from the people who have to live with the consequences of their actions. Noraid's explanation of the conflict excludes those who oppose their Irish ideal.  They pretend their war of neighbour against neighbour, is in some way colonial i.e. they call it, "fighting the oppression of the evil British Empire", this is a high minded justification for the murder of families and sectarian hate. They deny the population of Northern Ireland any human rights unless they accept the Gaelic Nationalist agenda they wish to foist on them. Noraid sees its agenda very simply as getting the "Brits out" of Ireland. Whether a citizen live in Ulster for 3,000 years or 300 they are seen to be an obstacle to their idealised agenda.  They use the most eloquent justification they can conjour, for their basest mindset of hate encapsulated in sectarian ‘Brits Out’ and ‘Gaelic Only’ slogans - the results of their actions are devastating.
