This believe it or not was the first original song that The Pterodaktyls, more specifically Me & Calum (in this instance) ever wrote.  Calum turned up at a practice with a cool riff in his head & I more or less "invented" this story of teenage angst with a Psycho killer/supernatural twist using the classic Garage convention of a poor dude whose bird has cheated on him.  If anything though this ought to serve as a warning not to take the kind of revenge this guy did.

     This one was a more mournful piece again about a failed romance, but this time the guy seems quite content with just moping around without taking his vengeance to a whole new level.  I wrote the words to this one as well & it made its live debut at The Cavern club on 28th October 1987 when we were supported by The 16 Dillons in front of what seems to have been a pretty hostile crowd, mind you they always were in that place.
