The New Adventures

"The Doctor had spent Saturday morning annotating his copy of The Crow Road in TARDIS library #138, and at lunch time caught a Victoria line train up to King's Cross to visit the British Library. He spent the whole afternoon there, in various sections. First stop was the reader's café, where he bought a Mocha coffee and a particularly buttery croissant. Then he found himself with a throbbing neck after spending too long looking at the spines of the King's Library, so spent two enjoyable hours breaking into the basement and following one of the mechanised book locators."

The Jade Pagoda is a mailing list set up in October 1998 to cater for "Doctor Who" fans worldwide. We specialise in any form of Doctor Who literature, particularly all forms of the Virgin "New Adventures" novels.

A FEW PAGODA RULES AND REGS -The majority of the list subscribers will be in favour of the New Adventures series of novels. However, this DOES NOT mean that we are against the BBC Books novels in any way. Healthy criticism is a good thing, and some of the New Adventures are pants!

-Messages posted to the list that are deliberately intended to anger other specific subscribers will be noted and the sender will be removed from the list. That DOES not mean that reasoned arguments and/or heated discussions are not permitted. They are encouraged! Adult content and discussion is allowed unless it is gratuitous. We are all mature people (most of the time) and can put up with it, I think.

-Any chain letters or other such crap must not be posted to the list. The sender will be removed and probably struck down by a bolt of lightning.

-We are all friendly people. The list owner (believe it or not) is also a friendly person. We welcome new members as if they are old members, and will be keen to know you. Stick to the above rules, and we can all live a happy, "Who"-infested life, free from unneccessary abuse and ridicule. Enjoy!
