Welcome
to Lennon World on
. Imagine the Legend, Genius, Singer, Songwriter,
Husband, Father, Son and leader of the biggest and
most influencial band of all time. John Lennon was
not only the greatest singer song writer to have lived,
he was a massive influence and touched many hearts
accross the world. John Lennon and The Beatles contribution
to popular music will never ever be surpassed. Following
the success of my original website Above Us Only Sky,
Lennon World is dedicated to helping the spirit of
John Lennon who changed the views and ways of the
world to live forever. I decided to start this site
as a hobby in 1997 after being introduced to The Beatles
by one of my favourite local bands Oasis and the massive
Britpop scene of my teenage years. I am unfortunately
too young to have seen The Beatles or John Lennon
but have influenced into listening to his music and
views and it has changed my outlook on life forever.
Lennon World is designed to keep the legendary spirit
alive and make sure that future generations get to
learn about the amazing impact this amazing man has
made on the world. Jamie Bassnett, Manchester, UK,
Webmaster.

made their first public appearance together at a New
York film premiere. Full

Lennon's reclusive life in his New York apartment.
Dead Beat in Dakota, performed by Sefton Theatre Company
at the Little Theatre next week, follows the star
as he tries to rebuild his career in the 1970s. Full
