Hi and welcome to my John Lennon tribute Lennon World. I decided to get a website going back in 1997, it was at first more to learn about web design and the rules and basic fundamentals. I chose John Lennon as a subject as at the time I had been listening to his music, something which was passed on to me by a member of my local band and big hero Noel Gallagher. I remember Maine Road watching Oasis and when Live Forever came on John Lennon was on a huge screen behind the band, it was then I knew I had to learn more about this man who had obviously been a massive influence on Noels generation and judging by the massive cheers now our generation too. I started listening to more solo Lennon stuff and then started reading up about John and got kind of hooked on it. The man is an absolute genius and has so many talents to go with his amazing way of life and ideas. Over the next few years I hadn't heard as much as I would have hoped about John and this got me annoyed so I was on a mission to make sure that my generation didn't loose the spirit of John Lennon. In 1999 the site became Lennon World and to this day still attracts thousands of unique visitors every month. I hope you'll explore Lennon World and find what you are looking for and more.

Hello. Could anybody PLEASE PLEASE help me? On January 3th 2004 I was in Playa Del Carmen (Mexico). All of a sudden I heard a cover from "Imagine" through soundboxes in a gallery. "Imagine" was sung by a woman and furthermore there was only accoustic guitar. Like the seconds of time- the icicles drip off their length. Only in sunlight is found the illiusion of strength. I swallowed my pride- and emptied my mind- to the white world of Winterland- that is suddenly blind. Take me back dreams- to the world that's awake. It's not as bad as it seems- now my world is awake.

Hi fellow Lennon fans, I just read a great new book called TICKET TO RIDE. It's by a guy named Larry Kane who was the onlu US reporter allowed to travel with the Beatles during their US 1964 tour. The best part is it contains a CD with interviews with all the Beatles, but the ones with John are especially great and always amusing! Highly recommend this book. PC
