We started in September 2000. A lot of work had been done to the building and to recruit - we began with investitures on 31st October, with 5 Scouts, 26 Cub Scouts and 2 Leader's Warrant presentations.

In April we had our first going up ceremony with 4 Cub Scouts moving up to Scouts. Also some more Scouts were invested.

In June we had our AGM and elected a full committee.

Now we have 26 Cub Scouts with a another 2 new members started. 18 Scouts. A Cub Scout Leader and an Assistant Cub Scout Leader. A Scout Leader with an Assistant Scout Leader (when he's in York at university).

We also have 2 Parent Helpers and quite a lot of parental support.

The future will hopefully include a Beaver Scout Colony being formed.
