The fossils here were brought back from the Old Severn Bridge at Aust near Bristol. This location dates back to the Triassic and Jurassic periods, about 225-135 million years ago. Amongst the rocks littering the beach you can find fish teeth, vertebra, scales and spines, shark teeth, fossilised clams and oysters as well as teeth, bone and coprolites from the reptiles Ichthyosaur and Pleisiosaur.
