Here is a photo of Hock Cliff on the banks of the River Severn.
Hock Cliff on the banks of the River Severn in Gloucestershire contains fossils from the Jurassic period, some 190-135 million years ago.
Due to the Foot and Mouth disease of 2001, the path to the cliff was very overgrown and we had to walk through chest high brambles and nettles to get there.
The fossils found here and the peacefulness of the location made the effort worthwhile.
