Buffy comic editor Scott Allie recently confirmed plans for a follow-up to the critically acclaimed "Tales of the Slayers" graphic collection with "Tales of the Vampires", including a story from creator Joss Whedon.

"Joss and Jane Espenson have turned in scripts already, and we're trying to figure out format." says editor Scott Allie. "It willl most likely be a series in the format of the Tales of the Slayers oneshot that we did last fall, with the basic approach of the Tales anthology we did the previous year. Artists aren't lined up yet, but we've been talking about it. Various writers from the show, as well as cast members, will be on board again."

Pictured is Cliff Richards rendering of The Master. Expect "Tales of the Vampires" in stores late 2003.

The latest issue of Titan's Buffy magazine was released this week, filled with the usual mix of interviews, articles, news, reviews and the continuing comic strip.

Issue 38 has James Marsters talking about his recent storylines, Stephanie Romanov (aka Lilah) reveals about working for an evil law firm, writer Doug Petrie chats about his episode successes in season six and there's a lowdown on how to write a proper Buffy script.

Part 7 of the recent "Out of the Woodwork" comic strip sees Buffy and the gang take on giant bugs, deep within hives beneath Sunnydale. With Riley out of action and Giles' girlfriend missing, can the Scoobies pull it off?

An A3 Dawn poster, news, reviews and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of "School Hard" completes this issues' crop of excellent features. Available in all good newsagents, priced £2.80.
