Clicking on the Files and Folders Button

Clicking the filesandfolders button will run the algorithm for listing files and folders. Its behavior is pretty much described in the html documents presented earlier.

With hyperlinks, filesandfolders is useful for producing a quick and easy sitemap for users to make sure that they have seen all that your site has to offer.

Without hyperlinks, files are not shown. However, full folder paths are shown in this case and so, when the filesandfolders button, without hyperlinks, is used in conjunction with the Cell button it is possible to achieve a generalization of the 3 step process described in folderlistbutton.htm. Simply press the FilesAndFolders button, without hyperlinks checked, position the rectangle shaped thing over the cell you want to go to and press the Cell button. Like the 3 step process described earlier, this is an inverse to pressing the parent button because it traverses down directories instead of up them. It is a generalization, however, because this process can be used to jump arbitrarily far down the directory tree in a single execution of the generalized 3 step process.

The generalized folder list looks like this
