The Painter
If I would paint a picture, and paint it just for you,
I’d use the deepest purple, and the brightest blue.
I’d paint our memories across the paper, so we can remember later.
I’d paint the sky, I’d paint your face, I’d paint our secret special place.

Mother
She is always there to dry my tears,
And walk me through my worries and fears.
She lifts my spirit by believing in me,
For loving me for who I am.
And for this she is my greatest friend.
I cannot express the love I have for her,
For ‘tis too great, I cannot express in word.
I am blessed for she is mine,
She certainly is one of a kind.
My only hope, is to someday,
