Brief Biog
Born a long time ago, educated at a singe-sex school, read English
Language and Literature at university. Worked far too long, started
writing far too late, has a life-long love of history and can't sleep at
night without reading for at least half- an hour. Likes walking, driving and all sort of pleasant pastimes...like drinking red wine, scoffing Toblerone bars...hopes to keep skiing for a while yet. Favourite author? Dorothy Dunnett. Favourite film? Latest James Bond. Music? Runrig. Something with a melody. Favourite place? can't single one out. My heroes? Imaginary, of course. I confess they do follow a type and there are a couple of pics over to the right...they show the kind of guys I have in mind when I'm writing...nowadays I'm tempted to add Rafa Nadal to the list...
