PHOTOS ANCIENT AND MODERN

For  the images related to the Little family on this page I am indebted to Barbara and Monty Little - the Canadian branch of the Little family. Monty and I share our 2xgreat grandparents, Emily Elizabeth (nee Crapp) and Matthew Henry Little (Snr).

Barbara and Monty have a tiny copy of the Vicar of Wakefield which has been passed down to them through the family  and which has the signatures  Matthew  Little, dated 3 July 1833 and Emily Crapp, dated 7 April 1839 on the inside of the cover and, what is especially exciting for our side of the family, the signature of our great grandfather, Edward James Little dated 29 November 1859. Edward would have been 15years of age at the time he signed the book.
