Felonious Fullicks

Fullick Convicts

All of the Fullick researchers  have 'brick walls' and would love to hear from you if you are able to assist them.
David Fullick is searching for George FULLICK, father of George William Fullick.  George William married Louisa Ann HENSON on 25 My 1881 in Holborn, London and on their marriage lines it says that his father is George Fullick (basket maker) deceased.  So far any further information on George has eluded David and he would be grateful for any help you can offer.
Steve Priestley is a descendant of Elizabeth LEGG, sister of Ann Legg, the wife of John Fullick. Steve is trying to trace the Legg family back from Ann and Elizabeth's parents who lived in Witley and it appears that they may have moved there from Elstead. Steve is also research two other Hampshire surnames MOSS and CHUTER.
Matt Fullick and his sister Rachael are descendents of the Selsey FULLICKs. George FULLICK married Frances PENNYCORD nee ALLEN. Frances was the widow of John Pennycord by whom she had 5 children. George and Frances had three children, Arthur Leslie, Ernest and Olive. A new page detailing the fascinating, and often heroic, history of this branch  of the Fullick family will shortly be added to the website
Jenny Crawford  is researching  all branches of the FULLICK family and in particular the descendants of George , son of George FULLICK and Frances WALTHAM. who married Mary Ann Parfett in Headley, Hampshire. George and Mary Ann's  son John married Charlotte WHITING  and they had  4 children, Edith, George, Elizabeth and Rose. Charlotte then ran away with a hawker named Henry HEATHER  and they subsequently had another 4 children, Caroline, Sarah, Charles and Harry. The four children were all christened HEATHER  FULLICK. John and Charlotte's daughter Edith had at least 5 children including  Frank Thomas, Walter William Henry, Kitty, Phoebe and following her marriage to Edgar Gardiner, Jack. Any information on descendants of any of these children would be very gratefully received. Other areas of research are:
COOKE, DOWDING, BLOMBERG, WHITTENBURY, CRAPP St George in the East, London
LITTLE Cumberland, Scotland & London. The Littles were Coopers and Staymakers.

Virginia Edwards has the following areas of interest:
1.
Sarah FULLICK, christened 1834 in Wymering, daughter of Thomas Fullick and Sarah SMITH. Daughter Sarah had a son Charles Albert Fullick on 14 Feb 1853 in Cosham, Hampshire, apparently an illegitimate birth.  Charles appears in the 1861 and 1871 census with grandparents on Crooked Cosham St in Cosham.  Charles mother is not enumerated as part of the family or elsewhere in Coaham.  Charles appears in Yorkshire in 1875 where he married. Virginia despite having searched the civil marriage and death records has been unable to find any trace of Charles mother, Sarah at any time following the birth.  If anyone has knowledge of Sarah, Virginia would love to hear from you.
2.
Annie Louise Fullick born 1870, Charles Albert Fullick born 1873 and Kate Fullick  born 1875. All are children of Alice Mary Fullick  who resided in Cosham, Hampshire and were all  baptised in the Parish of Wymering on 22 November 1876. Alice was the daughter of Eleanor Fullick.  The parish records show no father's name for any of the children. Charles Albert  is of particular interest to Virginia as he shares the name with her great grandfather who was born in Cosham on 14 February 1853....Could he be the father?  Virginia's great grandfather married in Yorkshire in December 1875, six months after the birth of Alice Mary's youngest child, Katie on 7 May 1875.  Again, if anyone has come across any of the people mentioned, Virginia would love to hear from you.
