Keeping physically and mentally fit is vitally important if you hope to get a job, for example, in a public lavatory, because you need to sit all day eating cake and drinking tea in a curious smellling little office furnished like a grannies living room, while some grown men stand in paper bags and commit grossly indecent acts in the cubicles.

FILTHY JOHN
A PUBLIC LAVY

PHYSICAL
Rising from bed around 3 or 4 pm and doing a bit of light feather dusting is good. Vigorous exercise is a must so visiting the local jobcentre once, even twice a month will help keep you in tip top condition.

MENTAL
YOUNG LADS OUT ON THE PULL If you have been signing on for some time it can often be very difficult to readjust to working life. The issolation and frustration of unemployment can leave you feeling depressed, dejected and osstrocised from normal, decent hard working society. A helpful way to counteract these feelings is to visit a drinking establishment sometimes called "a pub". This is the perfect environment to rebuild that shattered confidence and low self esteem. Alchohol is well known for it`s social enhancement properties. As well as being fun to drink it boosts your confidence and can enable you to talk to people in the "pub" with less inhibitions and therefore less fear of rejection because of your jobless situation. In some cases it may even make you seem more coherent than normal.

PRE GIRO TENSION
P.G.T stands for Pre Giro Tension. This is the disturbing condition experienced by doleys who have been unemployed for only a short period of time, aproximately 3 years or less. As they become a more experienced doley it tends to gradually dissipate. It is an unbearable period of time generally 4-5 days before you receive the next giro triggered by the overwhelming excitement in anticipation of the giro.
Symptoms consist of severe nausea, followed by vomitting, uncontrollable spasms, loose bowels and speaking in tongues.
There is know known cure for this although some relief can be found by consuming a substantial amount of alcohol.
