Information

Being a Golden Oldie myself I have a vast collection of vinyl 45's which are beginning to drift out of the spare room and onto the landing. I have no desire to dispose of them but I have noticed that many of the titles make excellent greetings. Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen by Neil Sadaka (happy days!) or even Congratulations by Cliff Richard. Rather than sell original and often valuable copies I have designed a very boring label on which the title can be better displayed. (and hopefully viewed on this page as well). This replaces the old mouldy oldie label and can be sent to friends, relatives, employers, ex-partners or the man that sold you a pile of rust disguised as a car. You get my drift.

I cannot reproduce the original label for copyright reasons but my own label will say something like: Happy Anniversary by Slim Whitman, originally released by United Artists on UP35728. As all records were 45's that section can be enlarged if the recipient has reached that young age; or moving to number 45 Acacia Avenue. I have tried spraying these different colours but the results are not perfect and to paraphrase Mr Ford you can have any colour as long as its black; but sprayed with a solution to prevent the accidental playing of March of the Mods by Joe Loss, late of the Lyceum in London's Strand. The reverse label is left blank for your own message and the whole thing is easily framed.

Tell me what the occassion is; birthday, wedding, anniversary, driving test, exam results, birth, house move and any other details such as job, interests, personal jokes (I am broad minded), physical qualities etc etc...and I will e.mail a suitable list by return from which you can choose your own label. There are never any out of stocks and the cost is just £2.99 including postage. For all non-UK orders the cost is USDollars5.00. In view of the very small amounts overseas payments are requested in dollar bill(s) e.mail your request to notjohnbarber@hotmail.com or .Please use Order Form. Once I have your order I will e.mail your label for your approval with details of payment
