NEEDED: PHOTOGRAPHS OF, BAY OF BISCAY,
BAY OF CADIZ, CLAN CAMPBELL, AND LAKE ERIE; CAN YOU HELP?
In order to produce a biography of Alexander Dunlop (1858 - 1888), the seaman, I would very much like to
acquire photographs of four of the vessels that he sailed in. All four were sailing ships, and they are:

Fairfield, Govan, Glasgow. Owners: J and G Bullock, London. Registered: London.
BAY OF CADIZ (79678) Three-masted ship. Built: Dec. 1878 by James and George Thomson,
Clydebank, Dumbarton, Glasgow. Owners: J and G Bullock, London. Registered: London (1879).
CLAN CAMPBELL (71713) Three-masted barque. Built: 1875 by Bartram, Haswell and Co., South
Dock, Sunderland. Owners: Thomas Dunlop, Corn Exchange Buildings, Glasgow. Registered: Glasgow.
LAKE ERIE (60397) Three-masted ship. Built: Dec. 1868, Barclay Curle, Glasgow. Owners:
The Canada Shipping Co. Registered: Glasgow (in 1878 she was registered in Montreal).
