NEW! COCK AND BULL "Concrete Routes, Sacred Cows, 20th Anniversary Edition"
1st CD release with 3 extra dance-length tracks: "Horse's Brawl", "Speed the Plough" and "Monkey Riding".
Hear their original versions of these new standards of folk sessions: "Stony Brawl", "Lunch in the Pub" and "Ronde du Quercy".

25 tracks over 1 hour of classic Anglo-French 'prog-baroque-jazz-folk' to coincide with the band's 30th anniversary.
Some of the tunes have had a life of its own since then, from their original commission as the soundtrack of a promotional slide show for the fledgling Milton Keynes Development Corporation (hence the nod towards Milton Keynes in the artwork) to making up the core of the music for Stantonbury Theatre's version of the National Theatre's productions of Flora Thompson's Lark Rise and Candleford, as well as the basis for Cock and Bull's original acclaimed Edinburgh Festival show.

Monsieur Pantin: Ma Rosalie
Folk on Tap:
"their unique blend of folk, Baroque and jazz-rock is as potent as ever and this impressive CD takes us through their kaleidoscopic world. I love it. It’s alive and rocking, and the sort of experience that every musician and listener should be subjected to once in a while. It’s a breathtaking example of a diverse stylistic range being a virtue... one of the best dance records I have ever witnessed!"
Netrhythms‘…utter originality and such an astounding range of tonalities, rhythms and feels…a soundtrack which abounds in beauty, passion and imagination.’
MK Citizen"full of some of the best roots music from France... a haunting and eminently listenable CD... excellent album."

Jah Wobble's Invaders of the Heart: "English Roots Music", 30 hertz Records 30hz
Q Magazine - December 2003: Bass demon sets course for future of English Folk...Underpinned by his perennial rolling basslines and flavoured by Jean-Pierre Rasle's pipes, this set takes gloriously voiced folk standards and sets them in a compelling industrial soundscape. Rick Glanville
fRoots: ...Mr Wobble...makes one of his most audacious cultural raids yet...Accompanied on the journey by pipe icon Jean-Pierre Rasle, guitarist Chris Cookson and singer Liz Carter, Wobble searches out some of the classics...The Blacksmith is a rudimentary telling coloured by a haunting whistle, insistent beats and mystical pipes before merging into an infectious dub...The reassessment of English music seems to be gaining credence and momentum at every turn and this deserves to make a telling contribution to that process. Colin Irwin
http://www.brainwashed.com: "Banks Of The Sweet Primrose" is the loveliest of the lot as Carter's longing vocal is backed by a haunting pipe drone, gently caressed acoustic guitar and a lulling bass line...English Roots Music is another winner from the prolific Wobble. - Mark Weddle
