Ane saising in favoris of George Chirrie and Margareit Stokis reg(ist)rat in the clerk registeris reg(ist)er of the S(he)reffdome of Fyff and Kinross at Cupar the elevent day of Maii 1643

 

In p(rese)nce of me notar publict undersubscryvand and witnessis underwr(itti)n compeirit personally George Chirrie mariner in the Lynktoun of Abbotschall quha past w(i)t(h) Williame Mitchelsone ane of the baillies of the barronie of Abbotschall to the grund of all and haill this four ruides of land lyand w(i)t(h)in the said Lynktoun upoun the south syde of the kingis streit th(ai)rof boundit betwix the ruides now perteineing to James Dennestoune on the west The rudes perteineing to Androw Kennedie on the east The west burne on the south and the said kingis streit on the north pairtis Lyand w(i)t(h)in the said baronie regalitie of Dumfermline and S(he)reffdome of Fyff And their the said George Chirrie for the love and favor he hes and bearis to Margareit Stokis his spous w(i)t(h) his owine handis be earth and stane as use is Resignat Renu(n)cit surranderat upgave o(ve)rgave and delyverit in the handis of the saidis Williame Mitchelsone baillie as haveing power and com(m)issione of ane noble and potent erle Williame erle of Dalhoussie lord Ramsay and Caringtoun to ressave resigna(tiou)nes and to give infeftmentis of the haill ruidis w(i(t)h)in the said Lynktoun All and haill the saidis four ruidis of land housses biggingis yairdis and pertinentis And that in favoris and for new infeftment of the samyn to be maid and gevine to him selff and to the said Margareit Stokis his spous and to the langest leivar of thame twa in conjunct fie and to the airis law(fu)lly gottine or to be gottine betwix thame q(uhi)lk failzeing the said George Chirrie his narrest airis and assignayes q(uha)tsumevir in dew and competent forme Quhilk Resigna(tiou)ne being sua maid and acceptit be the said baillie the samyn baillie be vertew of his office as haveing power and com(m)issione foirsaid of the said noble erle and the spe(ci)all desyre of the said resignar gave and delyverit here(tabi)ll stait and saising w(i)t(h) actuall reall and corporall possessione of all and haill the saidis four rudis of land w(i)t(h) houssis yairdis and pertinentis to the said George Chirrie and Margareit Stokis his said spous and to the langest leiver of thame twa in conjunct fie being baith thair perosnally p(rese)nt and acceptand be redelyverie to thame of earth and stane of the saidis rudes as use is conforme to the said resigna(tiou)ne and chairtour to be maid and sub(scryvi)t be the said noble erle th(ai)rupoun on all pointis
