The Karen Carpenter Remembrance Page

This page not associated in any way with the estate of Karen Carpenter, the pop rock group Carpenters, or any of their respective interests. All material here intended solely for educational or personal use. No claim of ownership whatsoever made to this material or to any part thereof.

Look To Your Dreams, music by Richard Carpenter, lyrics by John Bettis (Almo Music Corp./Hammer & Nails Music, ASCAP, 1978).

Look to yours dreams and tomorrow may be
Better for you and me....

This website--born of deep respect, admiration, even love--is my own endeavor to honor the memory of Karen A. Carpenter. While no page, regardless its length, can satisfactorily contain more than the merest sketch of a person's essence, especially about someone so wonderful, I hope mine gives an appreciable glimpse into the life as well as the accomplishments of a very special individual, and leaves a lasting impression of just how much there is we might learn from both.
