We arrived in Füssen on Sunday, July 1st. We found our pension (40 feet from very active train tracks) and met the woman who owned it, or as we referred to her, "Grandma." We took a long nap and then ate dinner.
The next day we went to Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castles. After seeing the castles, we hiked up a trail to see a magnificent view of the area. Then we hiked back down and through the Pöllat gorge.
On Tuesday, after our early morning breakfast with "Grandma," we took a train to Linderhof Palace. Back in Füssen we got ready for the next day, where we would travel to Vienna, Austria.
