We left Blois and took the train to Paris. After arriving, we found our hotel easily and were glad to see that is was very nice. It even had a balcony. We walked by the Lourve and road the Ferris wheel at the end of the Champs Elysee. After spinning for a while, we decided to walk down the Champs Elysee and check out the shops.

We found an Internet cafe and checked email. Then we went to Hard Rock Cafe and ate an early dinner. We continued walking down the Champs Elysee and saw the Arc de Triumph where we found a nearby movie theater and decided to see the movie Le Toumbeau (The Body). It was an English movie with French subtitles, and happened to be really good. However, we missed the conclusion because it was written in French text! Oh well!

The next day we had a few errands to run because we were leaving on the following day! We were sad about leaving but at the same time excited to be going home.

First, we went to Notre Dame and lit a candle. It was very neat to go back and visit it again. Then Katie bought some bowling shoes. We also bought some more wine to take back home.

After a quick lunch (French onion soup, salad, and hot dogs), we headed to the Lourve and did a whirl-wind tour. We saw the Mona Lisa, the Venus di Milo, and the Nike of Samothrace.

After the Lourve, we went to the Eiffel tower again. We had fun and took a bunch of goofy pictures. It was nice to sit and think about our amazing trip!
