What Happens Next?

Jeanne Waller of Keeshond Rescue will contact you for further details and to arrange a home visit. The availablility of dogs varies throughout the year. If a suitable dog is available, it will be offered to you straight away. If no suitable dog is available, Keeshond Rescue will contact you when a dog meeting your criteria is placed for adoption.

Once you have accepted a Keeshond, it is in the dog's best interests to get it to you as quickly as possible. Arrangements will be made to suit your circumstances and the area of the country that the dog is coming from. Keeshond Rescue will shuttle the dog, via its network of volunteers, to a location which is mutually agreeable.

Keeshond Rescue has a strict policy of not allowing old and new owners to contact each other in any way. You will know nothing about the history of the dog, other than that required for its immediate welfare.
