"This is my beautiful rescue, Escher. He was rescued from a shelter in 1993 at the tender age of 18 months. he'd been beaten, neglected, starved and abandoned. At the time we didn't know that rescue existed, but had wanted a Keeshonden for several years, after seeing a picture and bio in a dog book. Escher was the very first Keeshond we ever saw. We've been VERY involved with Keeshond Rescue in Denver, Colorado for almost 2 years now and have fostered 6 dogs in that time".
