Cruse Bereavement Friendship Group - Worthing Branch

WELCOME TO CRUSE BEREAVEMENT FRIENDSHIP GROUP

WORTHING BRANCH

Where does the name 'Cruse' come from? It is derived from a passage in the Old Testament about a widow's cruse, or jar of oil, which never ran out thus signifying that support would be given as long as it was needed. However, it must be stressed that despite the derivation of the name, Cruse is a non-religious organisation and welcomes people of all beliefs and none.

Please note, this is not an official Cruse website and has been placed here to give an opportunity for our local branch members and friends to enjoy some snippets from our activities here in Worthing. Hopefully, it will encourage others to join us. If you wish to comment about the website the e-mail address is lionel06@bulldoghome.com

An aerial view of the pool. Well, I was brave enough to climb to the top of the slide!

The daft bloke at the top of the slide. Photo_20

Gordon took a photo of me at the top of the slide, and what a daft hat I was wearing. But it kept the sun off the bald patch!

Our heartfelt thanks to Ted Stratford for allowing the use of his lovely garden and home
