THESE ARE THE DIFFERENT SORTS OF FILTERS YOU CAN GET.
This is a undergraval filter I dont use these because when it comes to cleaning the filter out you have to take all your graval out and all your fish then put them all back in. It is very bad for your fish.
This is a external pump I dont use these because I have a internal pump that came with my tank.These are very useful pumps because you only have to clean them out once a month or every other month.
These are inturnal pumps I have one for my tank I have to clean it out once a week it does a great job at keeping the tank clean and putting oxygen into the water.
ABOUT KEEPING YOUR TANK CLEAN
you have to cleen out your tank once a week so then your tank does not get emonia in the water. you have to change 20% of you fish tanks water once a week. you have to leave the water in a bucket for 24 hours before you cange eny water. you clean the pumps filter in the sponges out in the water you've taken out of your tank.
when I clean my tank out I leave the water in a bucket for 24 hours then I sifen the water out and it cleans the graval at the same time thn I clean the sponges out in the water iv taken out of my tank and then put the sponges back and then using a bottle I putt the water that I hade left in the bucket for 24 hours in my tank.
