Characters:
Claus Valka (クラウス ヴァルカ): Claus is the main character and hero of Last Exile. He is a surprisingly great vanship pilot even though he is only 15 years old. He lives in a small house with Ravi, who has been his friend since they were children. His ambition is to reach past the Grand Stream, though I'm not very sure why exactly yet.
Ravi Hed (ラヴィ ヘッド): Ravi is Claus's navigator, and a damn good one at that. She too is highly experienced for her age, 15. Ravi also serves as a mechanic for their vanship, and a cook for her and Claus. She is a nice girl, but has a bit of a temper problem when you get her mad. She doesn't seem to like doing more than what's needed for a mission.
Al E. Hamilton (アル（アルヴィス）E. ハミルトン): Al is the mysterious little 11 year old girl who was being taken to the Silverna by another vanship pilot (who's name I don't remember at the moment) and an older woman (I think) named Giita. It appears that the Guild wants Al for some strange reason and sends fighter aircraft to get her, but Claus takes over the unknown vanship pilot's mission and takes Al to the Silverna. What's so special about Al anyway? I think we'll find out later in the series.
Alex Lowe (アレック ロウ): Alex is the commander of the Silverna. He seems quite cold, since he rarely says much. He walks with a limp and always has a cane with him (it makes him look older :p). He always seems to look tired or bored or something though. He seems to be a very smart person and have a good bit of commanding experience behind him even though he is only 28, and he is respected by the crew of the Silverna. Of all the characters, Alex is my favorite ^_^
Tatiana Bisura (タチアナ ヴィスラ): At age 17, Tatiana is the ace vanship pilot of the Silverna. She pilots the red vanship shown in episode 2. She is ver self-confident and has a good amount of battle experience. Though she is ver prideful, she is actually brittle mentally.
Alice Tear (アリスティア): I'm not sure how her name is supposed to be written, but the kana translates to Alice Tear. Alice is a vanship pilot on the Silverna, and she is very quiet, but is a strong willed character. She is Tatiana's navigator during episode 5 and 6.
Sophia Forrester (ソフィア フォレスター): Sophia is the 2nd in command on the Silverna, and is very wise and unyielding. She also is well respected among the Silverna's crew. Sophia is only 19 years old (!).
Dio Erakurea (ディーオ・エラクレア): Dio is the son of the highest ranking person in the Guild. He's a very smart person, and he makes that known. He is interested in Claus for some reason, I'm not sure just yet. |
