Story:
-Last Exile is set in the world called Prestale. Our main character is a teenage boy name Claus who pilots a vanship, a boat-like airship, that was once his fathers. He works at a vanship carrier service along with Ravi, his navigation pilot, whom he also lives with in a small town in (I think) Minagis. Claus's dream is reach the Grand Stream, a huge storm that rage unceasingly in the sky.
-A ceaseless war has been fought in Prestale between two nations, Duesis and Anatoure (I think that's the name), that occupy the world which involved flying battleships in occasional skirmishes. For Claus and Ravi, the war has only been a remote incident unrelated to their lives. One day, though, they witness a savage battle when they deliver a letter to commander Madosein of the Anatoure fleet.
-Because of their insatiable desire to reach beyond the Grand Stream, they inadvertently get involved in the war that is about to affect the lives of all people in Prestale. |
