Those Al Qaeda Fellows with their Silly Pranks

So, there were some suicide bombings in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last night. At least 3 people were killed and about 40 injured (to date). I was watching CNN just a couple of hours after it happened, and apparently US officials are already blaming al Qaeda.

How could they possibly know? Nowadays it isn't just extremists who hate America - it's everyone from bin Laden to my grandmother. Hell, maybe my little old grandma orchestrated the attack. I haven't seen her around recently.

Isn't it somewhat irresponsible to apportion blame mere hours after the event? Shouldn't you, I don't know, wait for some evidence maybe? Now I don't have a problem with regular people jumping to conclusions. It's just good old human nature to succumb to stupidity. My problem is that international news networks spread this crap around before they have the facts, and people are inclined to believe it. Anyway, I'm turning to the BBC. American news leaves me with a nasty taste in my mouth. It's no wonder you Yanks know shit-all about the world. Grrrrrr.
