This Tudor box room was based on a room design in Dolls House step by step, the roof beams are based on a photo subject I took on my travels.
The whole intention was to leave part of the roof open to show the construction.
The stones are made from an air set clay rolled out to the required thickness, then painted to represent a sand stone.
The walls are covered in a quick dry plaster then painted in a mix of dark stain and matt varnish.
The wood work is in Iroco and stained in dark oak.
Some of the lights work off a flicker unit to represent oil and candles burning. The fire light is made from an old cigarette lighter with the wood sprinkled with glitter.
The tapestry was made by Lilian and has some 9000 stitches over 2.3/4" x 4" beautiful detail.
Look in the miniature furniture link  for the furniture details.
